Daniel I Stein is an environmental scientist and author who encourages Accessible Environmentalism, sharing budget-friendly activities that help families explore nature and create positive change. He believes caring for ourselves, our families, and our environment can be simple and enjoyable.

Daniel brings two decades of environmental and public health experience to his writing. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Calgary, focused on drinking water protection, and has taught programs for environmental practitioners at the University of Victoria.

He lives in Victoria, BC, with his wife, where they enjoy walks in Beacon Hill Park and travelling to new places around the world.
